Job Overview
Join a renowned team crafting bespoke tenders as unique as the superyachts they complement. This company combines timeless design and top-quality craftsmanship. As Project Manager, you’ll oversee each project from planning to launch in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with owners rep and external designers on project requirements and project planning.
- Initiating and updating project planning.
- Defining project priorities from the project planning.
- Weekly work breakdown and deriving tasks (engineering, procurement, production, assembly, project management) from project planning (with lead engineer/head of composites/outfitting lead). Overseeing tasks are appropriately recorded in Wrike.
- Assigning external resources to tasks and monitoring the planning.
- Checking on internal and external task progress with department Heads and Lead Engineers.
- Organizing design reviews, task planning & check in meetings.
- Reporting to project board on project status, risks and issues.
- Building project photo log and progress report (monthly progress report to owners reps).
- Budget monitoring.
- Organizing/creating (owners) manuals (with help of creative designer).
- Initiating MDR from spec (PM and Lead Engineer control the MDR document). MDR Owner.
- Motivate project team members.
- Keep project specifications up to date and inform team (consistently communicate with OT about development of specification). PM to record development of specification.
- Organizing project evaluation after delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Maritime Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in shipbuilding and composite construction preferred.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Right to work in the EU.
Salary and benefits
- Salary: €4,000 – €4,500/month + 13th-month bonus.
- Benefits: 27 holidays + 13 ADV days, eligibility for 30% tax ruling (for qualified candidates).
