Job Overview
This senior, hands-on role focuses on delivering high-end luxury yacht interiors from concept through to final installation. The position involves working across design, technical documentation, production, and on-board outfitting within a fast-growing international shipyard. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in interior fitout, marine systems, and technical detailing, along with a sharp eye for quality, precision, and aesthetics. Backgrounds in interior design, carpentry, or on-site outfitting are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop 3D models and 2D technical execution drawings for interior furniture and accessories.
- Supervise workshop production and prepare detailed technical documentation for furniture execution.
- Provide technical consultancy and actively participate in design reviews in collaboration with cross-functional departments.
- Support and coordinate the assembly and installation of interior furniture on board luxury yachts.
- Propose and implement continuous improvements to interior design solutions, materials, and execution methods.
- Manage individual tasks while contributing effectively to team-based projects.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with engineering, production, purchasing, and design teams.
Assist with purchasing activities and stock management related to interior outfitting components and materials.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience using SolidWorks.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Highly organised, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality.
- Proven ability to integrate interior design requirements with architectural and marine specifications.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with purchasing processes and stock management systems.
Good to have
- Previous experience in the furniture or woodworking industry.
- Previous experience in marine or yacht interior outfitting.
