Job Overview

The Service Team Lead is the primary technical and operational leader for Clients’ service activities in the United States, with a focus on Florida and the Caribbean. The role is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing technical escalations, coordinating service partners, and maintaining Client’s service standards across the region.

While the position includes team leadership responsibilities, it is fundamentally a hands-on technical leadership role focused on technical ownership, troubleshooting, decision-making, and execution excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all technical service operations for Client in the US and Caribbean region.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. 
  • Coordinate service activities, ensuring timely and high-quality execution of maintenance and repairs.
  • Manage and support certified service partners, ensuring compliance with Client’s standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and commissioning checks on yachts delivered to the US market.
  • Collaborate with headquarters in the Netherlands to align service priorities, resources, and technical support.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues and implementing service enhancements.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile
  • 8–10+ years of experience in the high-end yachting industry.
  • Strong technical background (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems).
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Experience working with service partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership capability as a hands-on team lead.
  • Hands-on and execution-focused.
  • Structured, cost-aware, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • High level of ownership.
  • Excellent communication skills.
