Job Overview
The Field Service Engineer provides hands-on technical support, specializing in troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and service execution. This field-based role requires extensive international travel and the ability to work independently in fast-paced environments while delivering professional support to owners, captains, and service partners. The successful candidate will diagnose complex issues, implement effective solutions, coordinate with technical teams, and maintain high service standards under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Client’s fleet, performing repairs, maintenance, and warranty work.
- Provide on-site technical support worldwide, responding quickly to service requests and ensuring work is completed to Client’s standards.
- Deliver practical solutions to keep vessels operational, including temporary fixes when necessary, and provide clear technical guidance to owners and captains.
- Coordinate with Fleet Managers, technical teams, and service partners to ensure effective service delivery.
- Represent Client professionally, maintaining strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare accurate service reports and provide technical feedback to support continuous improvement of products and service processes.
Candidate Profile
- 5–10+ years of experience within high-end yachting or related technical industries.
- Strong hands-on technical background.
- Experience troubleshooting complex systems in the field.
- Comfortable operating independently and travelling extensively internationally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving environments.
Salary and benefits
- EUR 60 000 – 90 000.
