Job Overview
As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Automation & Pricing Specialist. This role involves a unique combination of financial control, pricing management, and bookkeeping responsibilities. This role is a unique opportunity for a finance professional to contribute to both pricing management and bookkeeping in a dynamic and growing company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the ongoing process improvements, automation initiatives, and the integration of bookkeeping into our main ERP package.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently organize and implement price and cost calculations for our extensive product range.
- Manage pricing for 120,000 products sourced from over 100 distributors and suppliers.
- Conduct RRP calculations, margin analysis, and discounting policies.
- Regularly review and control pricing to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Verify final margins on completed orders.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Undertake day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities.
- Utilize German bookkeeping software for maintaining accounts.
- Play a significant role in the upcoming project to integrate bookkeeping into our main ERP package.
- Work closely with the accounting department, back office, and CEO.
- Engage in regular communication with team members to understand business needs and contribute to decision-making.
- Collaborate with the CEO on automation and standardization initiatives.
- Focus on process improvements with an emphasis on automation to reduce workload and enhance efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical skills and business know-how, or a completed degree in economics with several years of professional experience, preferably in controlling.
- Familiarity with German tax systems is advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Comfortable working with large Excel sheets and attention to detail.
- Proficient in implementing and automating new processes.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Full professional proficiency in Spanish; German language skills are a plus.
- Efficient, independent, and solution-oriented.
- Business minded.
- Comfortable working remotely initially, transitioning to a hybrid office-home arrangement.
