Job Overview
You will be part of the Mechanical Production department responsible for all technical installations on board, collaborating with other production departments throughout the construction process from keel laying to sea trials.
Key Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Technician, your daily tasks vary from working on propulsion, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, to fire suppression, and bilge systems. You’ll work independently, measuring, preparing, assembling, and commissioning technical systems based on schematics and drawings. Your responsibilities also include installing pipelines with various materials and connection methods.
Candidate Profile
- You are a specialist with experience as a mechanic/pipe fitter/machinist and a passion for yacht building.
- You have completed a VMBO/MBO program in mechatronics or mechanical engineering.
- You have experience in reading technical drawings.
- Good communication skills in Dutch
