Job Overview
As a Project Leader in the Mechanical Production department, you will be the central point of contact for all installations, pipelines, engine room, and sanitation on board during the construction of the yacht. You’ll work in the highest division of yacht building, where the size and complexity of systems are rapidly increasing. From the moment Engineering establishes the specifications, you will be responsible for leading the project in the Mechanical discipline. You’ll coordinate project requirements, deadlines, and schedules and align them with your interdisciplinary team members from the hull, interior, and exterior departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently measuring and preparing for the mounting of technical installations.
- Installation and commissioning on the basis of diagrams and/or drawings.
- Installing pipelines of various materials, specifications and material options such as compression, welded and flange fittings.
Candidate Profile
- 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in leading mechanical engineering projects.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Experience in yacht building or shipbuilding is a plus.
