Job Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager to oversee and coordinate marine repair and refit projects. This role involves diagnosing necessary repairs, liaising with clients to understand their requirements, and managing the repair process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and an excellent communicator, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose repair and refit requirements for each project.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their needs.
- Plan and coordinate repairs, working closely with engineers, technicians, and suppliers.
- Oversee project progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety and marine industry regulations.
- Prepare reports and updates for both clients and management.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in marine repair, refit, or a related technical field.
- Strong technical knowledge of marine mechanical and electrical systems.
- Previous experience in project management or supervisory roles preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Spain and willing to work as an Autónomo (freelancer/self-employed).
